Chicago ISPI South
Community Meeting

Determining the Root Cause:
A Research-Based Approach to Analyzing Performance Issues

On Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00 pm the South Community of Chicago ISPI will have its next meeting at the Business and Career Institute of South Suburban College.

This is the second session of a three-part series focusing on how to positively impact business results using the research, models, and tools from the field of Human Performance Technology (HPT).

The second step of the HPT process is to determine the root cause of the performance gap.  Prior to any intervention, training or otherwise, being implemented one must understand the root cause of the situation.  Using Mager & Pipe's Analyzing Performance Flow Diagram and Gilbert's Behavior Engineering Model, we will investigate how to determine the actual cause of the current performance and begin to map out interventions to achieve the desired performance.

If you live or work in the southern suburbs and would like to join us, please register today.

Participation in the session is free.
