    ASK THE EXPERT

    March 4, 2014; 7 PM to 8 PM CT

Join Chicago ISPI for the first in our Ask The Expert series, this month featuring Judy Hale and John Lazar.

You bring the questions and we will supply the experts in this fast-paced one hour show. Submit your questions in advance for the opportunity to be chosen to go on the air with Judy and John. (Keep reading for how.) You will be able to ask limited follow-up questions through chat during the call as time allows.

    Judy Hale, PhD, CPT

Judith Hale is an established consultant with more than 25 years experience working with the private and public sectors. What distinguishes Judy is her ability to offer innovative approaches to increasing the capacity and capabilities of employees, supplies, and after-market partners. Hale is known for being practical and ingenious in her recommended approached to credentialing and certification. The words frequently used to describe her are ingenuity - she sees possibilities others miss; integrity - she never loses sight of the goal; and intelligence - she knows how to get relevant and valid information.

    John Lazar

John is a change agent with diverse experience in the professional services, financial services, oil and gas, health care and telecommunications industries. He has the exceptional ability to coach individuals and teams to breakthrough levels of performance, and to design and implement performance improvement interventions for teams and organizations. John has been described by clients and colleagues as caring – authentically appreciating the person, more than their role; provocative – able to ask questions that challenge old perceptions and reveal new possibilities; and accountable – able to adjust creatively to deliver on commitments while maintaining strong working relationships.

    Create the Future

    About the Meeting

Do you want to help create and mold the format of Chicago ISPI community meetings for years to come? Are you available on March 25th, April 21st, May 20th, and June 18th from 6 to 9 PM? Then, please mark you calender and sign up for the Launch Series. This registration covers all four meetings.

The community of practice (CoP) format allows you greater input and participation, as well as provides an opportunity to engage in new and innovative ways. Our goal is to collaborate with you to create a successful meeting format and identify community volunteers to help us implement this format in four geographical areas in the Chicago area.

    Why Your Participation Matters

As a contributor in the Launch Series, you will help us shape the meeting process, identify topics for upcoming meetings, and much more. During and after the meeting, we will ask you for specific feedback to improve the format and processes.

    Topic, Attendance and Cost

The March meeting topic is "What Is Performance improvement?" Claire Beck will facilitate a highly participatory meeting that allows everyone to share their ideas.

Throughout the launch, your input and contributions in each meeting will determine the topic for the subsequent meeting. If you cannot attend all four meetings, please register for the meetings you can attend.

The cost covers food and beverage for all four meetings. Because you are registering in advance for all four meetings, you save 16% over individual registrations for each meeting. Please contact memberservices@cispi.com if you would like to attend but the cost is out of your budget.
